Another week and another Toastmasters meeting. This week our Toastmaster was a first time Toastmasters, Bach. He did a great job of putting the evening together, even as two speakers had to find emergency replacements due to weather. (It was stormy this past week in Dallas!) The theme this week was the Big “D” 70th Anniversary.
It’s contest time again! Speech contests are a Toastmasters custom. Each year, countless Toastmasters compete in the Humorous, Evaluation, Tall Tales, Table Topics and International speech contests.
