Weekly Update 11/10/2018
Since very few people seem to read the emails I send out, I’ll just put everything here. Those who want to keep up with club news will check back often. Those who don’t, well, they’ll never know. 🙂
The schedule is being made on Monday, 11/12/2018. People who do not show up for meetings when scheduled and make zero effort to find a replacement are being removed from future schedules. We’re all adults, and have chosen to join Toastmasters to further our public speaking and leadership skills. With that comes the responsibility of filling the role you have been assigned. Ask any member who has been a Toastmaster of the Evening before, and you’ll see how big of a problem this is. In my final days as VP of Education I, Don Teague, will be removing members who do not find their replacements so as to make things easier for the new VP of Ed, and future Toastmasters.

Holiday party coming up on December 01. Look for an email from Shawna or an invite service, with more information.
Officer elections on December 06. You know, the holiday party would be a great time to pick the brains of other club officers about what it is they do. Just an idea from someone who has done this a while.
No meeting on Thanksgiving.
No meeting on December 20. I sent a URL in a previous email update, but only 5 people voted and the majority of them couldn’t be there. Sensing that there would be no one available for 12/20, there will be no meeting that night. (Unless of course people see this and actually want to change my mind.)
No meeting on December 27.
